Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0768; 11:46AM; 19058 W Schoenborn St; https://bit.ly/4oIdrDv; Northridge; 38 firefighters achieved a knock down in 19 minutes. Fire contained to garage which housed an electric vehicle (EV). A 60 y/o male occupant of the home attempted to control the fire prior to LAFD arrival, and is being assessed for minor inhalation injury. No transport is expected. LAFD HazMat is responding to mitigate any additional hazards associated with the burned EV. No injuries reported to LAFD members. Cause of fire under investigation.
